BeechBoys! Message from Queen of bad backs, tho not quite the same area..Stated dose of diclofenac + stated dose of cocodamol - may help ease things. I know Janet has sent some stretching advice. I can't believe the wind isn't being kinder- there are so many hundreds of us willing it to be NE. You will be happy to learn that 120 children and 10 staff from HuntersBar school Sheff rowed 76.28km with you on Friday!! Some were partnering 'James' and some 'Norman'. They were well into the whole thing! Much money pouring in for WAid. Your efforts bring a whole new meaning to digging deep - very best wishes,

Néanmoins avec les ailes qui semblent vous avoir poussées depuis hier c'est presque ensemble que les Français vont franchir la ligne d'arrivée. Hourra à vous six.

G'day Norman and James

Sorry to hear about your back, James - hope pain is easing now.

We see that weather against you again with those S.Easterlies - checked out Shaun Quincy rowing from Australia to New Zealand and he has same problem - he's got South Easterlies and wants Westerlies! He is crossing the Tasman (very treacherous seas) and is on Day 48 with 460 km to go (2200 in total). He is down to his last 2 oars.

Stay strong, stay positive we know you can do it! In NZ we are all behind you!

'Be strong and courageous... for the Lord your God goes with you, he will never leave you or forsake you. Deut 31:6

Much love and prayers

Hi there Beech Boys !

Wow !... you've been really surfing along since the last time I looked, just how easy is it to get it up on the plane ? James is fit, strong and most importantly young (!), so a rapid repair of his back is very likely. You now have a whole new perception of what is meant by "...passing like ships in the night" ! David.

Sorry about your back James we must be catching as several people in Coniston are suffering including Don. We will continue to pray for your recovery and your hand Norman.
