Keep rowing Phil and Skippy.
I will not send to you message for a week.
I will not stop to think of you.
But I will be just trying rowing on the snow, during one week, in the south Alps! I hope with the sun!
This rowing on the snow, will be very usefull for me, when the snow will be warmed with the climate, and if I will be on my pink of condition, I will try to follow you both on the Ocean...
Keep your own job, you are working and loving with, Phil and Skippy, its a marvellous job...for you and the planet.

Another 50miler, fantastic progress in the end game. You'll both be thinking of the final push, don't go for it too early! I've had 3 good sessions on the water so far and lots of advice from the launch, might even make a sculler sometime! You'll be looking forward to re discovering your land legs. Signing off after a full day's sunshine (at about 5-6 degrees C.) Keep safe and use plenty of suncream.

Phil and Skippy Vision of Cornwall
Vision of Cornwall is at is top with 53 nm a day. Good results!
And this value is similar the top values you obtained -nearly every day- during the first fortnight of february.
The distance left, 506 nm is 20% of the whole coarse. Decreasing deeply each day.
Fortunately the weather should? be better and better? warmer and warmer? as you approch...Antigua!
On earth, in Europe, specially in France, it is really winter, the temperature is low. The hight pressure bring us sun and induces blowing east wind...up to you!
So, we are still in touch with you!

Sorry to hear about the mouthful of sea water Norman and hope you did not swallow it !

Hey there girls, another 600nm and you'll be on solid ground. Where funny enough theres more sun, and sea (cant help that i'm afraid), but theres sand. So gotta count for something. : )
Keep up the great work, your putting in amazing mileage even if its hard work. But just think of the end where all your family and love ones awaits. (well the ones who could make the journey), but you know theres the ones back at home, also supporting you and wishing you a safe journey back.
Girls your an inspiration to all those who never think they could never step outside their comfort zones and test their limits of adventure.
We the know the path of luck never runs smoothly, and you have battled I think everything mother nature decided to through at you, but that little blue dot still moves forward. So Well Done!!!.

After my last message its nice to see your distance traveled is the best of the whole fleet. It's amazing how throwing 2 fat baa lambs over board can make such a difference !!!! It must be so lonely without them, but they were only dead sheep in the water !!! I could say words of encouragement like I wish you well, but it really doesn't ring true from me, so I want blood, sweat and tears and you 2 in Nelsons Dockyard before I consider that paltrey donation of 50 pence !!!!

Noel Gallagher, 05 Mar 2010 00:08 GMT
HOTW - OK it is a two edge sword! I suggest that you could overtake Beech Boys and what happens? You both raise your game and it is a genuine race from now on with you as the 'underdogs' as you are a bit behind but the reality is you could catch them The problem is they are very aware you can catch them and as a result they are also doing brilliantly. The point is that the sooner you finish the happier you both will be.
It is still lest than 3 weeks to go - you are definitely on a roll :)
