Good to see things going well again lads. looks like you have a good routine going and the strategy to head south and pick up on the following winds after the rough weather has paid off. My recent post on your blog didnt stick, so If you are still fishing. lures attached to the hook are a good bet. feathers.. if you fancy catching a gull first, or anything shiny that resembles small fish
You probably dont have milk bottle tops but a shiny spoon lashed tomthe hook with sufficient weight to keep it down when trolling behind the boat might be a good bet. Be inventive Think back to Design....Anything flashy will do
Have given up on superlatives about your effort. It is great to see you safe strong and about to break the 1000 mile barrier. Great milestone to celebrate... Do you have milestones out there?

The Beech Boys

I'm very impressed with the blogs.
There are so many writers who suffer from 'Writers Block' but you obviously don't have that problem.
(must be a connection to Physical exercise!)
I see a new career for you - guest speakers at Literary Festivals and workshops, flogging your book! All the hard work will be done by the time you get home - you only need to print it off and away the publishers!

Keep it going lads i.e. the writing and THE ROWING! You're doing great.

Another day of steady progress which is great! From the blog it sounds like you've settled into your rythm again and are getting a decent amount of rest which is really good. Stay safe and strong

Hi Norman and James!
Fantastic progress to see on the chart – Daniel’s plotting off your miles!
Thank you for sharing such beautiful experiences with us all – you describe them so vividly, for a fleeting moment it feels like we can actually see too! Amazing!
Glad to hear you are still entertaining the fish! Maybe Joe is fascinating them. Do you still have your outriders ? – very impressed with the LOPD for providing these after the flip and grab raid on your boxers. Let’s hope they do intercept the culprits en-route to Milan – otherwise we’ll know who to blame if there’s nothing but cheap imitation quick-dry boxers for sale on the high street this summer!
Just seen your amazing 50nm!! Well done you!! Keep up your fantastic effort!
Lots of love from us all, Warren, Jill Daniel Evannie, Anna and Lydia xxxxxx
P.S. Has Joe plucked up courage to ask the love of his life what her name is? We can’t go on calling her the yellow jelly baby forever! (If and when he does ask – don’t tell us – perhaps we can have a ‘Guess The Name of Joe’s Sweetheart’ competition – (entry fee -donation to Water Aid..?). Prize – signed bumper pack of jelly babies?!)
