Yorkshire Challenger, sorry been quiet for a few days. Managed to catch up with Patches for lunch the other day and have a good old chin wag about wind formations and rowing techniques. She has a little bit more knowledge, but she defo has more time to study up!

I asked about your fave song Luke so I could adapt and Claire handily said some skater rubbish which led to Avril Lavignes "he's just a rower boy"... still WIP.

With the commencement of the 6 nations on saturday (I gave up my tickets and can now go. Gutted.) I thought what better tune to write a hearty sea shanty to than a good rugger song, swing low sweet chariot. Sing away...

God speed, yorkshire challenger
making waves across the sea
God speed, yorkshire challenger
making waves 'cross that big sea

stuck in the cabin
with lil else to do
may as well belt out a good song
picture east stand of twickenham now
may as well belt out a good song

God speed, yorkshire challenger
making waves across the sea
God speed, yorkshire challenger
making waves 'cross that big sea

as you row when the winds die down
may as well belt out a good song
they'll here you before they see you
may as well belt out a good song

Great progress last couple of days, bet you've never been more motivated than having been stuck in the cabin. Onwards to Antigua!
