Well the arrows are all pointing the right way again on the progress chart. Either the storm has subsided or a cargo ship full of magnets has gone passed the fleet. Hopefully the muscles have recovered and the skin grown back on your butts. Keep it up.

HOTW - someone mentioned total respect and that's so true. Now you are back on course, you have come so very far already and you have all our thoughts and wishes as you continue steady and strong towards that fabulous finish. Bite sized chunks maybe but they all add up in the end. You probably don't feel it but you (and everyone out there) really are heros.

BEECH BOYS ATLANTIC
Hi Norman and James!
Hope you are feeling and seeing a change in the weather. You’ve given us a fair few things to boggle our minds recently; there was the small matter of rowing across an ocean in a tiny boat; but Norman needing a haircut?!! And both of you with beards! That’s quite a stretch! Hope you’ll be feeling a lovely East wind in your faces anytime now. We’re off to scrape a few barnacles off some children – we’ve heard it does wonders to eliminate drag
Lots of love and prayers, God bless your days ahead

Hi Annie and Mel, the superstars on Explore! Just a thought here - if the para anchor was so efficient underwater in slowing you down when going backwards last week, could you rig it as a mini-sail now the wind's behind you? Or would that be against the spirit of the race?! Shame you didn't take one of Katie's bras... BONNNNGGGG! Another saucepan bites the dust... Keep in there! Love, Katie, and what's left of Renaud... XX.

Hi Rog,
Well you are always up for a challenge and the last few days certainly gave you that!!
Fantastic that you stayed safe and relatively dry.
So now it's back to "row, row, row your boat"...should be a piece of cake after what you have been through!!
Congratulations to the other competitors...you have all done a wonderful job under adverse conditions!
Stay safe.

Hey Annie and Mel, the girls on Explore! Now you're really back on track- the arrow's pointing the right way, only a mile to overtake Nightmare Maker. "Les jeunes femmes" on Vivaldi have shot up to fifth place (by going south??) but are still within reach! Hey, while you're out there, Renaud went to Retromobile in Paris at the weekend and saw crowds round the rusty remains of a Bugatti Type 22 that had lain at the bottom of Lake Maggiore for 70 years. Bonham's auctioned it, but instead of raising £70 to £90k expected, it went for a cool £246k!!! Ren says can you keep an eye out over the side as you're going along, and have that marker buoy ready, just in case... Go for it girls-we're with you every stroke! Love, Renaud and Katie XX PS: Nice words, Charlotte!

Phil and Skippy Vision of Cornwall,

I suppose, the wind and the waves are moulding and building your body and spirit to metamorphose in pure seamen.

The Atlantic Rowing Race 2009 is a big Race and the 2009 rowers too.

Anyway, the future weather will be better -for sure- and so, more confortable...

Hello Girls on Mission Atlantic. Heard all about your exploits off Rob & Lou. Must say what a crazy experience, hope its living up to what you expected. Must be hard leaving loved ones behind (must be brave to cope with that alone), hope they all coping well or they have good friends/family to share the difficult times with. Hope you heard work are now gambling on your arrival date, what a good way to make some quick cash for charity. (13th March is good - wink wink)
Stay positive, keep those arms and legs rowing, and remember that you get once chance in life, so live it to the full.
Im following the blue dot with great interest, hope its not too bumpy out there and the winds turn for the better.

Jo - Just a note, it amazes me how a trip across the pond can change everything. I love a good challenge.
So Take Your Time, Good Things Come To Those That Wait.

Well Done Girls

Bravo Vivaldi
Vous allez pouvoir rejoindre les deux frenchies qui vous attendent pour franchir ensemble la ligne d'arrivée en seconde ou première place selon JJ...
Que les français soient à l'honneur dans cette expédition folle!

Sean, Enough making this harder than it should be. All problems now behind you and the wind hopefully behind you as well. Push on tomorrow and over the next few days. Getting closed to being the first Irish solo to get across. Well done mate

Watching your progress from a safe seat in total awe, well done lads keep it up & see you home safe soon. In the meantime if your'e bored Si you can tell Mike all about the nail patterns required for a laced post shore and the disadvantages of a B23 flying raker. That should prep him for his course in March!!

Vision of Cornwall
Good evening fellas. Making a little forward progress again, Good on ye! Winds should be abating apparently, so not much longer of this to endure. February has begun with freezing temperatures here. Keep your mind alert, stay sane and ready to roll when the weather allows. X
