Hope you are managing to get some sleep and rest while the weather is rough. Hope it is calming for you soon. You will need to stay out of all china and fragile goods shops when you've finished. We spent a week on a cruiser on the river and felt ourselves swaying when we were on dry land. We had to make a hasty exit from a china shop as we were worried we might knock things over! Dread to think how much swaying you will be doing after the rough weather you have been getting! Take care. Love and prayers. xxxx

Just read your blog: did you think long and hard before using the word foghorn by my name? Parents often likened that word to me!! Remember you felt like spinning lots plates in air B4 you left? Good news: Dani FINALLY stopped being sick! She knows she's having a little girl and we hope she waits for our return B4 putting in an appearance. Yorkshire Challenger - looks like some pretty tough conditions for you out there. I adapted a well known song for you (admittedly I started yesterday when three days progress looked like you were attached to a torpedo). But still, most of it is relevant... to the tune of Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire;
Row how you’re rowing, chasing that goal
Know that we’re watching, we're watching
All of that effort, making this progress
Has people talking, talking
Boyyyyyyyyyys, your guns are on fire
The dark of the night time, the light thru the day
Your speed is amazing, a-mazing
The beards are ginger, bottoms are sore
Yet still you're legends, you're legends
Boyyyyyyyyys, your guns are on fire
It’s yooooooou that we all admire
Built like some gods there, Lukey & Mac
We’re all there with you, with you
Now not just for the race, it is forever
Oh, you’re jus the greatest, the greatest, the greatest
Boyyyyyyyyys, your guns are on fire
And boyyyyyyyyys, your guns are on fire
It’s yooooooou that we all admire
Boyyyyyyyyys, your guns are on fire
It’s yooooooou that we all admire

To every rowing crew,
All your rowing boat progresses, gathered on the Atlantic Ocean, looks like -on our screen computer-as a bunch of colored flowers with stems attached to Africa, La Gomera, and flowers still countinuing growing towards West Indies, Antigua.
Thanks a lot to every rowing crew -specially when the crew is one- continuing growing this bunch of colored flowers.

I was listening to one of my favourite songs last night - Mystify by INXS - and my thoughts turned to you...I'm absolutely mystified by your reasons for taking on this enormous challenge, but ever so glad you did, and best of all......I'm part of it...watching that little blueish dot steaming across the ocean, urging you on, whilst acknowledging your mental strength and dtermination to meet your goals. Kudos to Kim for her continual support !!

HOTW - I really hope you are both ok and retain that warrior heart you need to conquer this challenge, to raise all that money for children who you may never meet and to reach your goal. I was thinking of you both in that, two weeks ago on the 12th Jan, my two gandsons Hugo and Elliot were born - identical twins and fighters in every sense but Elliot was taken very ill last weekend and sadly did not survive. However, I'm sure that if he could, he would be with you now and urge you onwards to the finish, each hour, each day, just think of all the other Elliots you will help through your incredible efforts. Thank you both and there are so many of us with you in spirit.
Life can be tough but is always so amazing - be strong and it's all downhill soon ... after the halfway point!!
