PRESS RELEASE : HCL WORKFORCE 1 CROSS THE FINISH LINE

HCL Workforce crosses the finish line @ 0033hrs UTC on the 16th March 2010.

Joe Thompson & Chris Brooks have made the sandy white shores of Antigua just in time for their very much blogged about, and of course well deserved strawberry daiquiris and rum punches!

With a crossing time of 70 days, 11 hours and 3 minutes and another tale of many a frustrating hour spent on their Para anchor, Chris & Joe are able to remove their tenderly (!) adhered melolin pads from their rears and enjoy the dry land they have been longing to set foot on.

After experiencing the doldrums of constantly battling adverse weather conditions with the comparable adrenalin high of surfing 17knots down the side of a wave Chris & Joe have already hinted at the want to do it again..... Watch this space!
